Simple things you can do today to prevent back pain

Most people focus on their back when trying to deal with back tension and the onset of pain.

But the reality is that isolated exercises don’t work. In fact, exercises as such are not enough to make a difference.

The crucial element is HOW you’re approaching movement and what you’re doing BETWEEN movement practices, throughout the day.

Prevention is MUCH SIMPLER and more PLEASANT than you imagine.

Instead of boring repetitions of extreme extensions, flexions, or twists, you can introduce mild, slow movements. They are surprisingly efficient in releasing tension and improving overall mobility.

Strength and flexibility are passe. UNWINDING and INTUITIVE MOVEMENT are so much more helpful.

About the teacher

I started practising yoga in my early 20s to improve my physical and mental health. However, after years of
pushing my body into a ‘perfect yogi’, I developed a whole host of aches and pains in my body that didn’t want to live. I understood I was doing something wrong.

I was gradually shedding layers of unhelpful patterns from my body and mind. Self-awareness and self-kindness changed everything.
Today, I use an eclectic mix of techniques from the field of somatics, fascia unwinding, restorative yoga, qi gong, and nervous system regulation to help others prevent and cope with chronic pain.


I’m a certified, trauma-informed somatic yoga teacher and a certified Thai Massage therapist.
I have worked therapeutically with chronic pain since 2008.

What happens after I buy the masterclass?

Once you buy the workshop, you will receive automatic purchase confirmation.
It will take a few hours to receive another email with the access links to the masterclass.

I have very little space at home. Is this for me?

You need just enough space to lie down without touching the furniture or walls.

Do I need to keep a camera on?

I recommend keeping a camera on and setting it so that I can see you. However, you can choose to switch the camera off.

How do I access the workshop?

Once you buy the workshop, you will immediately receive an automated reply with a receipt. Within another 6 hours, you should also receive an email with a Zoom link and the session’s practical details. You will receive another reminder about the workshop one hour before it starts.
If you have never used Zoom before, connect 5 minutes before the workshop to complete the installation process.
A day after the masterclass, you will also receive the link to the recording, conveniently divided into theory and practice parts.
You will have lifetime access to this recording.

Are there any contraindications?

Nope! While aimed mostly as a preventative tool, the same practices can be done with people with ongoing back pain, regardless of the diagnosis (herniated disc, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, etc.) You cannot hurt yourself with this type of practice.
